A Divine Move is a short documentary film about a father and son exploring their relationship through the ancient board game Go. It will be released soon.
A passion project stemming from an unhealthy obsession with Go, I directed, wrote, conducted interviews, produced, shot, edited, audio mixed and color graded everything in A Divine Move.
Their story
Naisi Zhen is originally from Inner Mongolia before finally settling down in Nova Scotia, Canada. A Divine Move explores his journey, the struggles he faced and his search for meaning through the game of Go
